Sydney Relocation

Bonjour!

On Tuesday the (29/4/14) we made our first move of the trip relocating the boat from Roseville to Pittwater. It was quite a momentous occasion for Cptn Watson and the crew as Forte III had been at Roseville Bridge Marina since June 2012 and has contributed to some great memories and friendships.

We are now happily at home at the Royal Motor Yacht Club in Pittwater and will be here until we set off up the coast on the 9th of June.

Watson Jnr and Deckhand Chaney are dabbling in the realm of photography and filming in preparation for a successful documentation of the trip; below is their first amateur attempt at it. It will only get better from here but we hope you like it.

It is about to hit the t-minus 1 month mark and it's all shaping up to be one epic trip. Over the next few weeks we plan to knock off some of the last minute tasks like: storing bicycles, surfboards, fishing rods... packing and moving-in, fuelling up, tidying up and saying goodbye (plus whatever last minute things we think of).

Deckhand Chaney will be joining the adventure up in the Gold Coast, so for the first Sydney to Gold Coast leg we have been gifted (poor bloke volunteered) another Deckhand, Mr Kyle Kosterlitz. The American giant can be seen skulking around Manly and cheering up the patrons of the Novotel with his U.S charm. He is a welcome addition to the crew and will again be joining the vessel in Airlie beach and venturing to Cairns so will be a solid crew member of the trip.
