So here it is.
En route back to Cairns and it was a hard goodbye this time from our visit home. We are headed for Papua New Guinea and as reality of the isolation from loved ones set in, it made for a deeply heartfelt goodbye. An idyllic stop home both pulls you back to stay in good company, and charges you forward to continue knowing the support of home is how this is all possible.
Ahead. 60 hrs of motoring Le Vessel from Cairns to Papua New Guinea in the void of the Coral Sea. 1.5 months cruising up to Nusa Island Resort, Kavieng along the eastern coast and islands of Papua New Guinea. 2.5 Months in the New Island Province and surfing the most northern islands. To say we are excited is an understatement and this grail of tropical beauty has driven our pursuits thus far. What we hope to see, experience and live as reality could not be more entrancing to our minds. Only once in a life is all upon us.
We promise to make it worthy of a memory lasting to the grave. No second left to question what was around the corner, below that atoll, behind that mountain, on that beach, through those trees or across that creek. Documenting all and leaving nothing but footprints and gifts.
Limited connection for phones and computers, we will post here as often as permitted. We will have a satellite phone onboard and would love a message from home so if you are thinking of us please message! +870776312862.
If you want to track our location in real time you can visit this link which tracks our GPS location and should be accurate during our travels: http://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/FORTE3-IMO-0-MMSI-503007530
We depart Aus from Cairns on Saturday at 4am. If you can fold your middle finger over your pointer and send us some love we will be thankful.
Bye everyone,
