Well it is all getting pretty real now that this trip is coming together.
The vessel has been in commission for over a year now under the helm of Captain Watson and what a year it has been. Sydney is the perfect place for the weekend boater and we have taken full advantage of this with countless days out on pittwater and the harbour.
On a side note, you may notice that the boat has had a name change since its purchase. The reason for this is that gentle wind didn't sit right with us, and as Watson Snr having owned 2 boats previous in his 20's, called Forte and Forte II, it would only be right to carry on the tradition.
This weekend will be the Sydney International Boat Show and the Watson's (Snr & Jnr) will be heading in to do some research and shopping. The current navigation systems are slightly outdated and we'll be looking for an upgrade to get us fully prepared.
